Introducing Within,
a mental health collective.

Within was created for thoughtful people who find themselves asking questions that don't have easy answers.

For people who sense that something important is changing.

Maybe

Maybe it's burnout. Maybe it's a relationship. Maybe it's your work. Maybe it's harder to name than that. Many of the people we work with aren't looking for someone to tell them what to do. They're looking for space to think, feel, question, and understand themselves more honestly.

That's what Within is for.

Let's start with a conversation.

Psychotherapist + Founder

People often describe therapy with me as a thoughtful conversation rather than an analysis. Together, we may explore anxiety, depression, burnout, relationships, grief, identity, or the parts of life that no longer feel quite right.

My approach draws from existential therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, and systems thinking. The theories matter, but the relationship matters more.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years working in technology, design, strategy, and leadership. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the human questions underneath the work itself—identity, meaning, relationships, change, and suffering.

Today I work with adults navigating burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) providing psychotherapy under clinical supervision of Cecily White, LPC.

A safe place to begin again

Many people wait until things become unbearable before reaching out. You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes people come because they're struggling. Sometimes they come because they're asking deeper questions about meaning, direction, or what comes next. Both are welcome here.

Our office is conveniently located in the Philadelphia and Mainline area. Can’t make it into the office? No worries, we’ve got you covered with teletherapy in Pennsylvania.

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.”

— Albert Camus

The name comes from this quote by Albert Camus. I've always appreciated it because it acknowledges something important: life can be difficult, confusing, and uncertain, yet there is often still a capacity for meaning, growth, and renewal. Within is built around the belief that therapy can help people reconnect with those parts of themselves.
